I’m making headbands with buttons on them for the masks so that they don’t kill the back of people’s ears. I own a equestrian product business and have gotten one of the major equestrian apparel companies to do a buy a headband/donate a headband to us so I can sew the button! The thank you cards I’ve gotten have me in tears!

I'm a Flight Attendant and a neighbor of mine who I don't know very well reached out to me and made me a face mask. It was very unexpected and I couldn't thank her enough

I'm an infectious disease nurse. We've received a lot of verbal thanks, flowers, a pizza lunch, some sweets etc. Also, flowers was an extremely nice gesture.

Different restaurants in Plainfield are giving their food to other restaurants and workers and then they are playing it forward to someone else. Sovereign is giving some of their profit from their burger of the week to a tattoo parlor that is closed. I have held two contests on a local restaurant table out page to promote local restaurants

The regular every day people that want to do something. so they reach out their communities. Reaching out to FB people, organizing donations and feeding families hit hard. I feel like the community outreach has been so amazing.

There’s an ongoing meal train/Go Fund me cooperative between local restaurants and health care workers. People donate and the Naperville Chamber of Commerce buys meals to send to the nurses, doctors, etc.
