I just did a Marianos pick up for the first time today and got almost everything but the meats I had requested, and that’s probably what I needed most! I tried placing another order and can’t get a date until next week. I’ve tried Target pick up but know they aren’t letting you add fresh or frozen items to your order. Where else are you having luck with store pick up. pretty quick turn around from the time you order and easy pick up? Again, I mostly need meat. chicken, burgers, etc. Thanks!

Try Walmart. I’ve had luck getting meat there. In order to get a spot you have to go on at midnight or right after. But you’ll be able to pick up the next day.

There is a farmer downstate who makes deliveries to Naperville once a month and has chicken, pork, beef, etc. tons of stuff. I posted it on my page about two weeks ago

I haven’t been able to find an available delivery for two weeks but I found an amazing woman that has offered her shopping services. She is a single mom that paints for a living so is out of work and I was so happy to support her as I have been afraid to go to the store. I can pm you her info. She went yesterday for me and did a perfect job. I love Pete’s market and she said they had a ton of meat!

Walmart pick up. If you’re a night person try after midnight, 1am and you will get a time. If you are morning person try at 6-7 am however I’ve had best luck with after midnight. I got everything I needed and the 2 items they didn’t have they substituted something similar for me.

We just did Wal-Mart. They do open up slots at midnight. I was able to get everything except for 6 items, they did substitute them. It was delivered as promised. Jewel also opens up delivery times at midnight, but a week out. I have used both with no issues. Jewel was home delivery and arrived in a refrigerator truck. Wal-Mart was an individual person. I was able to get all the meat requested.

I ordered from good old Aldi via Instacart. I ordered chicken, meat etc and got everything. I did order on a Thursday\ and got delivered the following Tuesday.

Go to small business meat markets. You'll get the best meats and you wont have to log in at midnight and fight for times. Try sages or tischlers or hufndech.

One time they substituted pistachio pudding for chocolate pudding, lol. I'm grateful though that I can get a majority of the things I need without having to go in.

GFS has curbside service and great prices! We like the steaks and produce along with everything else. Just go to , click on curbside service, make an account and order. Then you can choose your pick up time. We've used them several times in the last few weeks and have been very happy with their service. Hope this helps!

Call Ream’s meat market in Elburn and see if they have what you want and if they will bring it out to your car when you pick up? I would totally go the meat market or butcher route if they are still open. The store pick-up time slots are as hard to get as winning the lottery and Shipt and Instacart are so busy, plus they can’t guarantee meat will be available when they shop your order either.

We get our meat from Angelos. It is a small enough store so shouldn't have alot of people in it. At Maple and belmont in DG. Much better than the super market and great prices too. His website says he is open during the pandemic.

Do you have Amazon Prime? You can use the Prime Now app to order from Whole Foods for pick up. You pay through the app and they literally bring everything to your car so it’s contact free. I’ve been adding items to my cart and then I check for pick up times every hour or so starting at 10am. I’ve been able to get same day pick up times so it’s been very helpful.
