Those of you selling/buying a home right now- how are things? Those that are selling their home, are you getting showings? Those of you buying, is the inventory super low?

I am a Realtor; all of my listings are getting showings. As for inventory, it depends in the neighborhood. Do you have any other questions? Happy to share what I am seeing right now

Realtor here- Homes are definitely still moving and going under contract . This past weekend brought out many new buyers , so it’s been a good sign of what’s coming .

We’re trying to sell & while we’re getting showings, we’ve had no offers. We have to sell, so we’ve had to do a couple significant price drops. I think we’ll end u selling for significantly less than what we would have otherwise

Our neighbors house has been on the market for just under 2 weeks and has had a ton of showings and is contingent already!

I am a realtor with Keller Williams. There are multiple factors to take into account such as price range, area, how updated the home is etc. I’d be happy to discuss what’s going on and help answer any questions you have.

Selling. Our showings have dwindled to maybe 1 a week or every other week. We had quite a few realtors set up the showing and then cancel. It’s been really strange and annoying. We had a last minute showing on Sat, an offer the next morning, then 3 hrs later, she backed out bc of virus concerns. It’s been stressful and confusing!

Hi Urszula! Hope you guys are well. We are selling and just listed right before things went south. Went under contract quickly, but we have noticed the inventory dropping on the buy side unfortunately

I’m a real estate attorney and homes are still selling! Things look a little different right now but are moving right along. The industry has done an incredible job working together and using technology to keep homes (and people! ) moving. I’d love to answer any questions from anyone selling/thinking of selling during this time! Feel free to PM or email me at heather@rp-legal. com

As a top Naperville agent I can tell you with 100% certainty things are still moving. The buyers that are looking are serious, no more “shopping around”. If you are thinking of listing I’d recommend going for it! If you are looking to buy, yes, inventory is low, but the sellers that are offering showings are motivated! Please reach out if you would like to have a live chat!

I’m a Realtor. Now is the time to sell. Less competition and prices are steady. Make sure you have a virtual tour included in your listing. I’m messaging you now.

Hi Urszula, I am a Realtor as well with Keller Williams Infinity. It is a GREAT time to be buying or selling real estate. People are home and on the internet looking at properties which is great for sellers. Buying now is great as well bc only the most serious buyers are out looking. Most everything has gone virtual and there are guidelines to make transactions as no contact as possible.

We’re somewhat stalled I guess. My realtor won’t do in person showings right now, but has a partner that will. We’ve got our eyes on a few houses. Houses in the price range we’re looking act don’t move that fast lol. We saw a few before lockdown. One is under contract now. Anyway-we will be patiently waiting for the right one to come along. We will put our house up for sale once we can get our window treatments/painters/contractors inside again to finish up the inside of the place. getting siding and landscaping done in the meantime.

We sold our house real fast at the beginning of the pandemic, buying a house was a little tricky because people were locking down and not wanting people in their house. No touching anything, only 15 minute showings. It's been a crazy process, I'm losing my mind

I work with city & suburb building & zoning depts obtaining new construction and renovation permits and we’re still rocking and rolling. In fact we’ve had our quickest turnaround times during this pandemic!
