Question

We have a crack in the wall in my basement, trying to find someone who can repair it. Any suggestions?

I had water leaking from a crack every time it rained. I called US waterproofing. 6 years later and still no more leaking water. They have warranty and recommend them.

Generally cracks in a basement are a sign of more problems. Suggest getting a few estimates from companies such as Chicagoland water proofing, every dry, permaseal, etc. We used Chicago land and was pleased with the work to install drainage tile and sump. Does water come in through the crack - if yes definitely call a waterproofing company. If the masonry is just sealed from the basement through tuck pointing or patching it will be a lot cheaper but may eventually cause the foundation to fail.
