Does anyone know if a permit is required for demolition of an existing deck in Niles? We are not rebuilding; only demoing the current deck. Thank you!

We did a whole fence ourselves. Never got a permit.

If it’s visible from the street I’d probably look in to it further bc that’s the last thing you need is the village stopping demo half way through and not letting you continue until you have a permit! If it’s in the back and your neighbors aren’t gonna rat you out then I’d think mums the word ‍♀️
