Take it to an alley in Chicago. Someone will stop by and cut open the mattress and take out the springs and leave the shell for for the trash colllectors

I put a full mattress out last month on garbage day and it was picked up. If I am not mistaken, residents are allowed one bulky item a week.

Yes, but Groot says if it’s a king size it should be folded in half and tied. One bulk or big item a week is allowed.

Chainsaw it 3 ways long, 4 ways short. Garbage bag each slice and drop one off in the trash each time you fill up at a gas station.
