I second that place. We have used that place for at least 10 years now. It’s safe and secure. You need a passcode to get thru the gates.

I just googled it and there are places closer to Oak Park, but this one is closer to the north side of OP. This one is secure with a gate. Not sure of other places that may be closer.

@berget I have had a storage unit at the Lockup on First Ave. for several years (since I downsized from my house to a condo) and I highly recommend it. Very well run, if a bit pricey. If you are a Costco member they will give you a discount (hopefully they still have that deal)

@berget it’s very clean which is really what I care about and they have a drive in loading area which is also awesome! So if your moving stuff in the rain, it’s a non issue

@igneous I don’t recall if it’s located in oak park or just nearby. We had no problem arranging pick up for the pods once we were through.
