Rental Recommendation Needed Hi Everyone, my family of three is moving to the Oak Park area from New Jersey this summer (and we are VERY excited about it! ). As you can imagine, it is very challenging to buy a house without ability to travel.  We have decided to initially rent. Can you recommend short-term leases in the area please? Thank you, @berget PS. I’ll be asking you guys many more questions.

There was once someone who needed a Ferrari patch for their kids Halloween costume as an F1 driver. turned out one of the moms in the group was in Italy and going to the Ferrari F1 museum later that day and would be back before Halloween and got her the patches. Seriously, they can solve everything lol I’m certain someone would have a connection to a short term lease situation

We just bought a house in Oak Park (closing in two weeks! ), so will be moving out of the townhouse we’re currently renting in Forest Park (next town over) towards the end of May. Message me if that might be of interest and I could put you in touch with our landlord. I don’t think he usually does short term, but would probably be open to it given the current situation. We’ve been happy here for two years now.

Local real estate agents sometimes help with rentals. The OakPark Housing Authority can be a good source of leads on apartments too.

Welcome! You will love our little town and our triangle communities as well. River Forest and Forest Park. The Oak Park Housing Authority is defiantly the place to start. They are wonderful and need the continued support of our community. Oakparkapartments. com has swept up a lot of the original owner buildings in the area and therefore has a lot of inventory to choose from so also a good option.

We have a 2 br Coach house with full kitchen and parking that we usually AirBNB near East Ave and Washington Blvd. If timing works out, we'd be up for a short-term rental
