Hey ladies!  I need to have my daughters hair fixed because my ex husband thought it was a good idea to have her beautiful long hair chopped off!Hey ladies! I need to have my daughters hair fixed because my ex husband thought it was a good idea to have her beautiful long hair chopped off! He lives in the middle of nowhere so I assume the people don’t know how to cut hair based on how it looks. They literally have her a mullet. I normally take my boys to great clips by target. does anyone have experience with a stylist there that would be the best person to trust to fix my daughters hair? Also, if anyone has extra 4. 99 coupons for there that would be wonderful! Thank you!

As a daughter of a stylist I’m not sure taking her to great clips to fix a mullet would be a good idea  I’d take her to an actual salon and spend the $30 to make it look way better if you can. May be cheaper since she’s a child

@legator74351 poor choice of words on my part. Many stylists start out at great clips to build a clientele. Using a seasoned stylist would probably help the botched haircut

@roentgenogram I have been a stylist for 30 years and have worked at full service salons as well. Yes, some stylists start at Great Clips to get experience, but also stylists that have been in the business for many years work there as well.

@legator74351 While the cost of the cut doesn't measure the stylist's talent, your expectation tends to be a little less based on the price you're paying. Others obviously feel the same or 9 people wouldn't have liked the post. ‍♀️

Maybe take her to Kid Snips on 95th and Rt 59 and have stylist that are familiar with children’s hair to fix it for you! My daughters love it there and all the stylists are really nice! Worth the drive and money.

They can also braid it for her and give her some glitter when they are done! I’ve left with clips in there hair too! They always do way more than just a cut!

@myrt49634 go to Kid Snips and ask for Alex. She can fix it and make it cute! She cuts my daughter’s curly hair that is still short at 3 and grows unevenly. And I feel your pain. My ex took my curly haired girl to get a haircut and told them to give her bangs. On a curly haired girl ‍♀️ He is forbidden from doing haircuts for them ever again.
