Does anyone have suggestions on anything not so expensive to do for Easter with the kids? My husband just started working last Wednesday so we should have income this friday, still does not mean I can go overboard with spending I have a 3 yr old, a 2 yr old and a 7 month old.

The kids just need you. But if you wanted to do a basket, chalk, bubbles and a chocolate bunny would be absolutely sufficient Also, has the bunny ever left the jelly bean trail around your house? That's a fun one. ;)

Buy some plastic eggs and baskets at the dollar store. You can hide them around the house or backyard if it’s nice and they can find them. You could also color eggs, or make Easter drawings or paintings. The dollar store has a good selection of coloring books too. If it’s nice out and you’re in the backyard you can get bubbles for them to play with too.

I have some extra trinkets that would be good for putting in eggs. If you pm me I can put them in your mailbox

Yup fill a lil basket and hide it. Don’t have to do much  Their young enough. Color eggs is fun!

I would do a small toy or stuffed animal, bubbles, maybe candy (small amount) and for baby I would do baby cookies or cheerios

Nothing expensive for us: make pancakes into the shape of bunnies, eggs for lunch and time outside!

Paint pictures. Color. Read stories. Egg hunt for mini eggs. They are young enough that anything you do will be special

Color eggs, and bake something. Doesn’t matter if it comes from a box. That’s my youngest’s favorite thing is to follow the directions on the box himself  We’re coloring eggs tonight at his request.

Bake some cookies and do a simple egg hunt (in your yard or inside if it’s rainy).

We’re planning a backyard egg hunt, and I’m honestly just filling the eggs I have left from last year with whatever candy I already have around the house, and some change in some. Baskets have crayons, an egg shaped shape sorter for the little one, some lip glosses (and a couple other little things from when I overbought for Valentine’s Day), and today I just ordered sunglasses and baseball hats for both from amazon. Mine are 1 and 3.

Remember the kids are still young and would enjoy just finding a few eggs each over and over and over again! Blessings to you all!

Honestly I don’t go crazy on Easter. Bubbles, Chalk, Coloring books, stuffed animals. I don’t even buy too much candy because my kids don’t need it! Maybe a kite or two and playdoh?

Throw some plastic eggs around the yard. Have them collect them in some kind of bag or basket. Than after they find all the eggs have them gather around and read them an Easter book.
