Question

Asking for a family member that was laid off due to covid 19 and was told to apply for unemployment by supervisor. When this person applied their weekly benefit was $0. How is that possible? When this person tries to call the number listed it was a recording.

They may not have worked enough in the past quarters to qualify. I'm not sure but I do believe that requirement is being waived as independent contractors etc are being given unemployment.

@adventurism7 Here's some info on why they may/may not qualify. I would recommend calling into the office and talking to someone.
