Anyone else fall off the wagon in January? Just me‍♀️‍♀️ okay then. I'm not even interested in tracking my spending because I know full well I won't like the results. So I'm starting fresh in FEBRUARY With my bank account balance as my starting point. My point here is. Dont beat yourself up if you fell off the wagon like me. Just start over. Just start somewhere. Y'all got this ish!

I fell off - hard. I was doing great at the beginning of January but the last couple weeks I was just a disaster  February has much more hope for me!

Same here but in my defence I had my sons bday & I always buy the younger kids new shoes for holidays in Jan (previous seasons on sale) instead of paying full whack come April when we go  I’m hoping to be better in Feb

Yeppp, i had good intentions, but my mom ended up in the er and admitted to the hospital ICU around new years and my whole life was on pause, spent a lot on hospital food, vending machines, coffee, and take out  she comes home tomorrow so hoping to try again for February

I overspent on fast food. I still tracked it though so I could be aware of what needs to change
by (760 points)
@baily1826 I did that with other spending - overspent on certain things but kept track of every single thing to see what needs to change in feb!

I personally would track just to have the numbers no matter how far off they are. For me I love seeing how much my net worth is and comparing . month to month

@plunkett oh, I cracked my Bill's and payoffs. Lol. Just not even interested in knowing where the rest went when I know where it should have went.

I would track it just simply because if you don't know where your numbers are. You are basically setting yourself up to fail for in February going forward. I k ow I didn't do so well in January either. But in February I know what needs to be done ❤ good luck in February❤

Food. That’s my downfall  I’ve been here since January and was planning on starting then, but nope. So even though I’m already a day behind, fingers crossed for getting it together in February

I fell off but it was because had a family member in an emergency situation. I ended up charging about $700 to a CC. Started February with a transfer from my EF to pay it off. That’s what it’s for and I’d rather build it back up than pay interest to a CC company.
