I haven't logged into Personal Capital since before the holidays and I like how I can get a snapshot of my Net Worth. Is there any way to see when bill payments are due? I could see my available credit for connected credit cards and the balances with a transaction history. How is Personal Capital different from Mint? I currently use both and have been trying to clean up the number of apps on my phone.

For me, I like Mints budgeting better. I’ve found over the years, there have been many errors with my accounts syncing over time or transactions delayed by 2-3 days. Even with these problems, the budgeting is par none to Personal Capital. PC, I use mainly for tracking net worth and insights into diversification amongst my investments.

I use YNAB and love it for budgeting and net worth tracking.

@brezin doesn’t YNAB have an app, or is it only desktop software?

It does, but the app version is pretty limited. Mostly for checking things.

I LOVE YNAB. Anyone who hasn't explored the envelope method of budgeting. this is the right app and interface to try it out. Good for your main checking and credit cards. Personal Capital is still great for your whole financial picture, trends, net worth etc etc.
