Yikes, what were you guys invested in to get those kinds of returns? 8-12% when the S&P returned in the 20’s hurts my wallet.

@iconostasis23 I think a lot of folks on here are more diversified than s&p. I have most in s&p so I get the highs and lows of it. I assume based on how Andrew invests, many folks here are ok with out the highest highs to avoid the lows. Just my speculation.

%17 on IRA. 401k was like 15%, calculation looked kind of funky on that one. It's all at 90/10 split stocks/bonds. 40% international, 60% us only.

23%. S&P500 did 28%. I messed up in Jan. When the mkt was goin bk up, I got out of all my high flying tech stocks, plus some ETFs (not everything, thxfully). I thought we were going to retest the bottom of Dec '18. This is why they say dont time the mkt. I finally got bk in, losing valuable gains. My portfolio is 65% stocks/ETFs, 35% fixed income, sm amt in money mkt. I'm close to retiring.
