I need some advice.  Not really budget related but kind of I guess.I need some advice. Not really budget related but kind of I guess. My hubby is a HUGE Elvis fan (like we have Elvis stuff EVERYWHERE in our house. I have been promising him for. the past 2-3 years that we would go to Memphis around his birthday. I plan to put a chunk of anything I get back from taxes away for this trip. My question is for anyone that has been, would it be more memorable for him to go to Memphis or Nashville? Not that $ would be much of an issue, but which destination would be better on the pockets? Thanks!

If he’s an Elvis fan, it’s Memphis for sure. I’m from Memphis, and go to Nashville a lot. Graceland is a huge draw internationally for Elvis fans.

Beale St in Memphis is amazing. Great good, great music and lots of people watching. Lol.

If you decide on Memphis, plan all your activities during the day. The area around Graceland isn't the greatest.

@silkstocking I agree but the new hotel the Inn at Graceland is really nice. Just dont "walk around" that area at night.

I live in Memphis. It is more affordable than Nashville and has Beale Street and Graceland. Nashville is fun but is more country music. It all depends on what you like but you cannot go wrong with either.
