If I have a side business and work full time can I still do my personal taxes separate from my business taxes? I also didn’t make any money last year because I’ve just started my business and working on growing it this year. Help please! And thank you!

It entirely depends on the way your business is structured, so I would consult a tax pro. Generally a sole proprietor or single-member LLC file a schedule C for their business along with their personal tax returns.

If you elected s-Corp as your tax status then yes you can do separate returns. Otherwise you would have to do a schedule c on your personal taxes

I’m a nurse so my job is secure right now and I don’t have to worry about paying my student loan bill this month (thank god) but because my federal student loan provider is offering to defer payment penalty free for the time being, would it make sense to do so?
