I have something of a thought exercise for the group. 1) What # do you think will be the bottom for the Dow? Feel free to round. 2) What date do you think the Dow will hit bottom. If you feel that’s already happened, say what date you think that was. Be as general or specific as you like. For both 1 and 2, feel free to provide your logic. TO BE CLEAR, I think it’s a fools errand to try to time the market. As far as I’m concerned, dollar cost averaging is king. That’s what I’m doing, and that’s what I will continue to do. But I can’t deny that I’m super curious to see how accurate a group of informed people can be. My plan is to calculate the average Dow bottom and date (average days from now) and share them with the group.
