There are LOTS of things that are way up in the air currently and how school will be handled is one of them. Honestly NO ONE KNOWS right now. Most likely there will be 2 shifts of kids, one half of the alphabet will come two days a week, the other half the on two different days per week. It SUCKS. The teachers know it. The parents know it. The kids know it. But it is what it is. I do not think it will matter where your kid goes, it will be different than it's been before and it will be weird. They will limit class sizes in some way, specials may be done in the rooms instead of going to the special's room. There are a million things that are being considered at every single school and daycare. They are trying to figure out the safest way to keep the staff and kids healthy and still learning. With that in mind remember that it is the WHOLE WORLD, every single kid, in every single district, in every single country that will be losing a lot of learning. The teachers know that too. This past spring was confusing, the teachers and schools had a few weeks to work out the details. For fall they will have months. SO don't make a decision yet. Buy a summer workbook for your child's grade level and have them do a few pages each day, no stress, just a few, Give them a reward for doing it if need be. An M&M per kid is usually enough for the lower grades, lol. And as hard as it is, just enjoy having fun for now.
