Question

What is the wait like at Crusade Burger on a Saturday night? Like 6ish? Does it help to put your name on the Yelp waitlist?

@funderburk6 Burger Theory is in the Holiday Inn. Always quiet in there, but the bar makes decent drinks and not too expensive.

Rowdy’s burgers are so much better and they have a good selection. True in the dive bar part but adds to the fun. And as someone mentioned previously Jackson Avenue pub in DT Naperville is awesome too!

@defence339 yeah the whole dive bar doesn’t bother me, it’s no crusade pretty inside. I know some moms would be shocked if they walked into rowdy’s thinking it was like crusade. I love the hole in the wall places. They always have the best food!

Put name on a list or you’ll wait forever

You won’t get a seat without being put on the list.

My friend waited 1 hour last weekend around that time.

Even on the list, expect a two hour wait. You should check in on yelp around 4 at the latest if you want to go around 6. There’s like zero seating there.

Put your name on the list or go at an odd time like 2pm or 3pm that is what we did

Call ahead. We went on a mon and it was almost 2 hours

Even in yelp you will have a hour wait. Yelp will say get there at a time you’ll get there and have to wait with a million other people

Expect a wait even if you go on yelp. We went on a Sunday at 6 and it was a 2 hour wait

We were going to go last night and by 5PM the wait list on yelp was over 250 minutes long.

We were there last night. Put our name on the list at 4 we were eating at 8. It was unusually busy. We usually go and it’s about 2 hours. definitely use Yelp.

You can also see the wait list on yelp so if it says be there by 6 and there’s still 10 people ahead of you then you know to wait. Check how many are in each party though because if you have 2 and the others are at 4 than you’ll be seated when there’s a 2 top first.

Go during the week is my opinion. We dont mess with the weekends there its to long of a wait. We went 2 thursdays ago and in and out like a normal place

I love MOOYAH burgers on Jefferson in Joliet! So good!

Have you tried Backroads pub? I enjoyed it every bit as much as Crusade and feel like it is way more family friendly.
