Getting ready to buy in Champion Creek. is this a safe neighborhood? This is our first house purchase and I need some moms to put my mind at ease. I'd love to hear experiences. Our kids are 4, 2 and newborn

This is the subdivision where Freedom Elementary is. We live in a neighboring subdivision, but my daughter goes to school here (3rd grade now), and it’s amazing. Most of my daughters friends live in this subdivision, she always asks why we couldn’t live there too. We had just decided on a home build before we moved to the area, so this subdivision wasn’t an option. I wouldn’t have any regrets moving there, everyone I know there loves it too and all schools will be within 5 minutes (elementary-high school).

I don’t live in Champion Creek but do live nearby. It was one of our top choices when buying a house here 20 years ago. Good schools. Plainfield itself is a pretty safe area. Have lived here 20 years and have never had a problem other than vandalism but you will get that anywhere. We have replaced our mailbox about 6 times. That’s about the worst we have had.

I live in champion creek with a 2 year old and 6 month old. Have only been there a month but love it so far! Moved from Chicago so definitely feel safe.

I've been in Champion Creek for about 10 years and feel safe! The biggest issue we have is occasional car break ins. usually teenagers messing around etc. Other than that it is a very family friendly neighborhood.

We’ve lived here now for about 5 years and have a 13, 8, and 5 year old. No issues in the neighborhood (aside from our neighbor but you’ll get that anywhere) and we LOVE Freedom Elementary!

I live next door in The Crossings . the entire area is safe! It was really nice to have the grammar school so close! My son is in middle school now and that isn’t too far either.
