Question

My little one who is 5 is showing interest in playing soccer. She had never played before. I don't know the least bit about this. When is soccer season? Recommendations of whet to sign her up? Ect. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! ⚽️

The Y’s in the area (Joliet Plainfield and Morris) have Soring soccer starting soon. It’s like. 6/8 week program. Very laid back and a great way for her to start.

Plainfield association. 120. 00 one Saturday game. One practice a week. It starts in april.

@viewer15 the coach picks the day. So we practiced for a hour on mondays. But to be honest i have never had a practice scheduled on that day before that. And games are always on Saturday

There is once you get your coach. They will pick one day that is the same every week

We signed up our daughter (turning 5 this summer) for PSA for the spring. My husband and I founded a nonprofit soccer club and we plan to offer some classes and eventually a competitive team for this age group, but it's still in the works so we wanted to get our girl started with some basic skills and a feel for team gameplay in the meantime. PSA is inexpensive and pretty low-commitment, which is perfect if you're just starting out!

Avery Ymca is your best bet, if she’s is just showing some interest this is perfect for her . if she doesn’t like it it’s perfect for you and you haven’t spent a lot of money on It

Do you live close to Joliet Park District that’s where James plays soccer it’s 90 bucks I believe for the season that include your jersey, games are on Saturday morning and the coach picks one practice a week and it usually stays the same day. David actually an assistant coach and his brother Luke are coaching this year you need to sign up like now though because the games start in April.

I'm concerned with not knowing what day practice is prior to enrolling her. Thankspically we device on classes ect based off days that coordinate with her dad and I's work schedules.
