My kid's closet doors keep falling down. Most recently fell into the wall leaving a hole ‍♀️ Considering taking off the doors but am undecided between an open closet look or curtains! I've searched both on pinterest and can't decide which route to go! Show me pictures of your doorless closets! Or pro/cons to either option.  EDIT : loving the curtain idea for my daughters! But what about for a boy's room? I feel like curtains are kinda girly? Anyone do them for their son or what alternative?

Dang. I need to replace my sons closet door because it has a hole in it from the previous owners! I love the curtain idea I don’t know why I didn’t think of that!

We chose the no door option!

@inclinometer I love how this looks but my concern is they're kids, their closet isn't always going to look good enough to be seen lol

I threw up a curtain in my kids so they have a little changing area.

I just did curtains on our pantry door because I couldn’t stand it being broken and swinging open all the time. I actually love It and decided to do it for my daughters room too. It looks super cute and is super cheap to do. I used a tension rod to hang them.

@herrenvolk do you mind sharing a picture of your pantry? I hate our bifold doors, mainly because nobody ever shuts them and then they are sort of in the way

I intended on putting curtains up, but I just haven’t done it yet. I love not having doors though, my older daughter hasn’t had them on her closet for years.

This is an old pic of my older daughters room at our old house. She had curtains but we kept them pulled back almost always. She put up sheers with hanging lights at our new house but ended up taking them down.

Bifold doors suck. They never stay on the track.

@flaherty703 I hate them! It happened at our old house and I thought they were just cheap but our new house has really nice ones and they still fall off !

My daughter has no curtains. I put toy storage underneath her clothes too so that way it’s another toy area that can be utilized. And then she has some school stuff and crafts up top. My sons door always comes loose too. I’m about to do the same to his, but I need to go organize it a little bit more first lol ‍♀️

Leave the doors off its so much easier to get to your clothes and if u get little organizers it looks super cute

Interesting to know everyone else's bifold doors came off the track too. Thought it was just our luck.
