I have recently taken a position with an outreach program. It seems like one out of every five people I help coughs and sneezes all over my desk. LOL. I keep hearing about thieves oil. How does this stuff work? Just put it in my diffuser and it helps kill germs? Is it a pleasant scent?

I use Doterra oils. For germs I diffuse On Guard.

Love Thieves! It has a clove/cinnamon scent to it!

You can apply it to the bottoms of your feet! You get the benefit, without having to worry about bothering other people!

I think it smells like cinnamon or cloves.

Thieves is great except most employers won't allow diffusing, so consider an alternative.

@fortyniner . it's a really small office with a boss that only comes around every few months. I wouldn't want to make it uncomfortable for my co-workers. But I don't think they would mind a little something that smelled pretty good.

@thorpe some people are actually allergic, that's why I mentioned it. ☺

Lysol or ect I’m just saying there’s not way thieves is killing a virus  it’s just wishful thinking

Kara, I’m also super sensitive to scents like bleach and thieves is actually too strong for me and I think it would smell up an office quick. I use hydrogen peroxide to clean.

It’s a strong smell. Like Christmas. Not bad, but I’d think overwhelming for a small office.
