Loved the Sam's club brand. My parents still have a membership. My dad is going to grab me some until I get a new membership. I just cant believe how downhill Target diapers went. They used to be so great, especially for overnight

@boulevardier I agree! I opened the new ones I'm like wth. really. Lol good thing we are potty training soon but.

@boulevardier I agree! Grabbed a small package cause we are almost done with diapers but I needed a few for her and there and overnight and I hate them! Using Aldis now for overnight.

Maybe I'll try Aldis too

This is the new ones. if yours aren't like this then no worries. I'm debating on buying them again and chancing it.

Yep. We used to buy the overnights and this past box we bought has been terrible. Thought maybe we just got a bad batch but if I remember they look different now too. Not a fan.

@mushy I tried 2 different boxes of overnight recently and they are garbage. Such a bummer since they were a great price.

by (3k points)
We are going to be potty training very soon thank god but due with baby #2 in June and I don’t want to use these with him! I dno what to get now!

We used to use Sam's Club brand, they are really good too! But Target was so much closer so more convenient to go there instead to grab diapers. Try Sam's club for your new little one. Still good price too
by (3k points)
@boulevardier ok good to know . was thinking about trying Kirkland from Costco too .
by (3k points)
@boulevardier Target was definitely more convenient! I think cheaper too!

I noticed that about a year ago. I used to love them, and then they started making them thinner out of the blue.

Okay I feel like I started not liking them recently too but thought my guy was just wetting more and that’s why I kept having leaks in the morning. I feel like they bunch up weird, and pull away from his waist, so his pant line of his pajamas gets wet. Is that what you notice too? I thought I needed to go up a size but they fit him initially when I put them on and they will leak even if they aren’t super super wet.

@sanctity Penge this happens to my little girls too. and I’ve been doing the double diaper at night

Yes they just do not fit right. he leakes through at night now. it cant be a size thing cause I literally went from the old diapers to these new design within a day and noticed.

I’ve heard this a lot and I haven’t noticed a big difference for my kids. I noticed they changed them a bit but I haven’t experienced anything bad in terms of leaking or fit. So hopefully it stays that way. If not I’ll be SOOOO disappointed. I def can tell they aren’t as long as they were before. I compared new to old and the new is almost a 1/2 inch shorter. Which is pretty crazy.

@ovoviviparous82 I haven’t noticed either. Keeping my fingers crossed!

@ovoviviparous82 I swear by them!

I’m glad someone said it. ‍♀️ these new ones must have less coverage or something bc my son always has a diaper wedgie off to one side or another.

Bummer! Well once baby was out of the milk only stage, so eating solids regularly, I LOVED Aldi brand diapers  I just didn't feel they held up well enough for the younger stage with all the blowouts!

Try Luvs! They’re great! Used target brand on my daughter but now use luvs on my son with no complaints!

Does anyone know if there is a way to tell if it’s the old or new style from the outside of the box? I have several boxes of varying sizes and I would love to know before I open them! If not, will target take them back if you have to open the box to check? I got them at different times and so I’m sure I have some of each but they are mixed up now.
by (5.9k points)
@sanctity Penge I don't think there is a way. But I'm pretty sure target will take them back. Give them a call

Ok girls. so I have been using my new box for a couple weeks now. I’m not experiencing any leaking yet so far but I have noticed little particles of the diaper gel on my sons skin. And it’s not like he was in a sopping diaper for a period of time. Just damp ones. So that I’m pretty disappointed in.  if I have to switch I’m NOT gonna be happy. Anyone else notice that?
