I’m supportive of the stay at home order but I can’t imagine how busy these places will be. They better come up with a plan. It’s going to take forever to catch up.

Some states are letting new drivers skip the driving test & they are able to trade in their completed permit work (classes, driving, etc) for their license to help with the expected backlog. Haven't heard any plans for Illinois, though.

@penta . I saw Wisconsin was doing this bc otherwise they would have to give over 16000 driving tests and counting. yuck.

My son was also suppose to get his license, but of course they have been closed. We are moving out of state before it will reopen. So now I have to try to get his in our new state.

Wisconsin and Georgia are letting them get their license online by taking the written test only! No driving test if they have completed their class & driving lessons.

Most car dealers will do sticker renewals. Call for apt. First. Need to wait, if you need emissions.

Morgan should have gotten her license March 18th. praying they open by the end of the month but who knows. Would love to be able to apply online without driving test!
