Curly haired mamas, what do you use for your hair? I feel like I’ve tried everything but my hair gets unbelievably tangled and loses volume by the end of the day. I get kinky curls on the under side of my hair but the rest is just curly. anybody tried LUS brand? Or curlysmith and had luck? Help

Devacurl is awesome. I am a stylist with curly hair and have many curly haired clients and they all say it’s the best product they’ve used. They have shampoo conditioner and also many different stylers. You can go on their website and read more about their line

@hispanicize I’ve tried devacurl and i honestly didn’t like it at all!

@koran do you remember what you used from them? Ouidad is another line my clients have liked in the past

@koran i have been using devacurl too, and my hair just seems to be going blah lately. So i think sometimes we just need to change it up ‍♀️

@hispanicize i don’t. I’d have to look at what i have at home. I had a spray. not sure if i had gotten mister right or the fresh one and i had the defining gel

@view49222 i was losing hair too i feel like, which was so crazy to me!

Yes I tell people all the time to switch up the products, if you use something too long your hair gets used to it and you may not see results

@koran sorry you had a bad experience with devacurl, products definitely work differently on everyone. ouidad is another curly hair line you could try as well my clients have loved that in the past too

@hispanicize I’ll have to look it up. Thanks for your suggestions:)

@koran you’re welcome, happy to give some hair advice right now since I can’t be behind the chair!

@koran there’s been a lot of talk about that. I think someone is even starting a class action lawsuit. But i have so much hair it’s hard for me to feel like I’ve lost any ‍♀️

The holy grail for me is kinky curly not today leave in conditioner/ their hair gel or like gel is also good. And I just tried three new products by Lange products that I love too. The best for me is to put all products in my hair soaking wet and scrunch w a t shirt

I have to switch it up every so often. Right now I use the redken line for curly hair. I recently used something from the salon that I loved and I cannot remember the name of it. I’ll look it up.

I use moroccan oil products and deva curl. I also sleep in wet braids and when I wake up it’s a lot more tame and less frizzy.

I love Aquage products for my hair. I have really curly hair but it’s thin, so most curly hair products weigh it down or are too heavy. The Aquage is moisturizing and leaves my curls amazing

I LOVE Kerastase, mainly the Elixir Ultime and their cleansing conditioner for curly hair. Then my normal go to products are biolage hydrasource conditioning hair mask (applied to ends and not rinsed out), Biolage Gelee, and Rusk “Wired”. all applied to wet hair and finish with TIGI hard head hair spray

I use Moroccan oil mask- hydrating (brown lid) as my conditioner and I use Moroccan oil curl cream. HIGHLY recommend both!

Hi! I'm a local business owner. I also have very curly hair. Most commercial hair products contain ingredients that cause dryness like water, alcohol and preservatives. The product I make are waterless and very rich. They give the hair a lot of moisture and refine the curls. I recommend my shampoo bar, condioner bar and moisturizing Hair oil. Please message me with any questions. ivynicolenaturalremedies. com
