Question

So I applied for unemployment I received a letter from IDES saying they estimate I'd receive $0. I wasn't too surprised as I was only working part time. Well, I received another letter almost a month later saying I'd receive something. I missed the 30 day window to set up a PIN and every time I log on to certify it says I am unable to certify online. Of course I've been trying for days to get ahold of someone with no luck. Any advice on what to do?

Just keep trying, it’s flooded now because the self employed were finally allowed to file on Monday. So sure that’s why you’re having a hard time getting through.

I haven't called this # But someone posted this and I screenshot it to keep the # on that poster I passed it on to 2 friends and both were able to get through They did have to leave their name and wait for a call back Which they didn't wait very long Like 20 min Try that Good luck xoxo

You can also go on unemployment and change it to direct deposit so that you don’t get money on that card

@leeds17294 I did :) I just an not able to recertify now, keeps saying I'm not able to online. When I call it says I need to establish a PIN with ides and no one answers.

My mother in law never set up that card and did have her account set up for direst deposit and they keep depositing the checks on that card

@leeds17294 if your MIL has access to her account on the computer She can log in Go to the top right There is a small drop doen arrow Click that She can change it to direct deposit through there You don't have to go to an office We changed ours like that xoxo

That's because IDES calculates your benefits by quarter. But even if were at 0, u still qualify for the weekly $600 . Just call the 312 # to get the status of your claim and your next certification date
