If you aren’t buying from a dealership call any currency exchange and ask.

It’s much cheaper to transfer plates over getting new ones.

@palmieri ok thanks we’ve never done a transfer we always end up doing new ones because my husband always has a change of mind on car type.

But for you to transfer it was to be same owner, same vehicle type (car to car) you can’t transfer car to pick up. At least to my understanding

It will vary because of the tax. Tax is based on the amount of the cars value. Plus county taxes vary as well.
