Ok so the wood trim around my door is not wide enough for me to mount the doorbell. So any ideas on drilling in between mortar and how to I run original wire to it? Other question is am I able to connect the ring to 2 phones and a hub?

Looks wide enough to me. It would overhang from the flat surface but the trim looks wide enough.

@lukin as long as it doesn’t impede the doors movement, it looks like it will fit?

@lukin you could try the doorbell pro. It’s more narrow. It would work as long as you have good power to your old doorbell line.

I had to get the doorbell pro because it isn’t as wide as the standard ring doorbell

Consider spacers, some are included with a doorbell 2. there are others available that are not ring brand. if you carve one so that it fits over the old doorbell and The masonry, and a slight bit of its edge can get a grip with screws to your narrow trim, then a doorbell will fit over that easy-peasy

Forget the doorbell and replace the porch light with a floodlight cam.
