A few questions about Alarm: (1) Can I test the Panic Button if my alarm is in training mode? Ring Help pages say I need to change it to "Self-monitoring" mode but it's not available for me because I am still in training mode. (2) Once I have professional monitoring turned-on, will Panic Button work even if I am in Disarmed Mode? Like does it automatically switch to Armed and trigger the siren and call police? (3) The new keypad looks pretty and has more buttons. Can I buy it and will it be compatible with my 1st gen base station?

As I know after switching to self monitoring, you can use the panic button even when you’re home  but you’ll need to call police yourself. In professional monitoring I think the answer is YES.
