Question

I’m very happy today  Finally got my floodlight cam wired and installed, covering the driveway and most of the front side of the house. This was a real missing piece in the security system until today. Question: can you set the camera up so that it only motion-activates the lights between certain hours or even better. only between sunset and sunrise? I’d rather not waste energy and power up these lights in the daytime when it’s not really needed. I can’t seem to find a setting for that. Thank you for your help.

My lights do not go on during daylight. I believe it is the default.

Don’t you have a Motion Schedule under Motion Settings. I have a Spotlight Cam don’t know if Floodlight cam has a setting.

@daryldaryle yes - that’s motion. I have a doorbell and stick up cams and I can set it up exactly like that. With the floodlight camera there’s also the lights that come on. I want motion 24/7 but lights only when needed

Floodlights around my house. Lights set to stay on while it's dark, to help deter any criminal activity.

It has a photo cell that automatically leaves the lights off during the day even if motion is detected.
