Ok I'm sure the answer to my question is already here but I cant find one and I would like personal accounts and opinions as they may differ than online sales pages. I need a camera that is affordable, inside/outside night vision and has a chargeable battery, and some advice. Last night the next apartment building got broken into and the perp went thru a ladies back window into her room. So I have a ring doorbell but that leaves the whole side of the apartment building exposed where the windows are. My sons window is over there. I dont think I can affix anything to the siding there and I need to be able to remove it easily to charge it when needed. I wonder if the night vision still works if it's in between the window and the screen on the window. If so I could just set it there? I dont even worry about drilling it. If I can easily remove without undrilling I would do that. Or totally just set it on the ledge inside his window but then would glare prevent a good view? And then I will of course bump up to the 10$ a month tier for multiple ring devices and how does the call to the police thing work? My ring I currently have goes off all the time for dust, people walking by ect. I dont want to have the police called everytime dust floats by. Thanks!
