I've got a strange one. I have 1 path light (out of 12) that everyday at the same time goes offline and then comes back online twice. This has happened now everyday for the last 5 days. I have replaced the batteries, reset the bridge twice. Ring support is not accepting email support requests now and I can't stay on the phone for their support during my work day. Any Ideas?

Have you tried switching its location with one that is working normally?

@eade1 Sounds like a defective device. Ask for an exchange.

I am having the same problem with 2 of my 5. They have not moved since I installed them post launch in Sept/Oct and suddenly they are causing problems. Changed the batteries.

@debi77 it’s a conspiracy actually I wonder if it’s a buggy update. I wish we had a option whether we want to update or not

I am guessing a buggy update. Probably starting from a legit low battery trigger.

@debi77 mine is still doing it with new batteries. Then I removed the batteries put then back in and the light did not restart. Took the them out again and 1/2 hour later got another notification it was off line. Talking from the dead

Yeah same here. Still think the code is buggy in recognizing battery level that's why it is online and offline and online again. They changed a few routines to the new code and missed one that doesn't update the battery life.

I am having issues all of a sudden as well. 3 of 6 lights keep going off line then back. I replaced all the batteries.

Contact them by Ring Facebook IM. They just replaced one of my Pathlights that got waterlogged.

Same problem. I have 6 lights and they have all of the sudden started going offline and then coming back on. No rhyme or reason why. I think it’s a buggy update too.

Just read elsewhere that this is a known problem with all of their smart lights. Supposedly it will be fixed in a software/firmware update. Guess they don't test stuff too well.
