For a while now if we go to live view of our door bell, it will not stay in live view mode. It starts to connect to live view and then never does. No error codes, internet is working. Battery is charged. Any ideas?

Cam model? What’s the RSSI# on it.? What’s your WiFi equipment, is there a WiFi extender present like a chime pro. Lastly, using bandwidthplace. com what speeds are you getting right next to the bell with all doors and windows shut behind you.

@lemur rssi was 63. I'm still trying to find where to model number is. There is a wifi extender right next to the front door.

Kelly, if you’re using a WiFi extender and you’re getting a -63 rssi value, WiFi is your issue. Although your RSSI does not mean WiFi strength because of the extender, the -63 shows that the connection between your cam and the extender is poor. Now, all extenders will cut your bandwidth by 50% or more before extending whatever is left over. So this means that whatever your upload speed is - the 50% cut of bandwidth - the poor connection = the WiFi your cam is getting is horrible.

Kelly, then is even worst. The closer to 0 the better it is.
