I have installed a contact sensor as a tilt sensor to let me know if the garage door is open. Nice, but. it occurs to me that if I set the alarm when I go out early in the AM, and wife is asleep, but I forget to disarm the system from the driveway instead of when I come in. this would be a bad thing. What has everyone done to work around this issue?

You can set different sensors to trigger or not trigger in the app

Yes, but the issue is that when I come home, the alarm may be in home, may be in away, and disabling either or both do no good unless I strictly want to keep it unmonitored. That is better than nothing in the cases where I wonder if I left the door open when I drove off, but defeats the option of using to be advised if someone opens the door in the night. I guess you can't have it both ways.

Yeah, I set mine to never trigger the alarm. I'm ok with that (not ideal but I'm not sure what could be done to solve it) , but I do wish I could have it tell me if I try to arm and it's open.

I have it set to trigger when I’m home. Not when I’m away. But I also have a motion detector in the garage. Works for me.
