I am having a problem with my indoor camera. It’s located in my detached garage and shows weak WiFi signal. I added an extender and still weak signal. Distance from base to camera is less than 100’. Any suggestions?

I have a split level house and even when there was a short distance from room to router I had reception issues. too many walls. I tried extenders but they were now working well. Finally put in an Eero wireless mesh and much happier.

Your wifi is trying to go outside an external wall and back through an external wall into the garage all of which are twice as thick as internal walls. Mesh system or powerline adapter is the only way forward. Or a camera with PoE
