I have an indoor stick-up camera in our living room that we use only for peek-ins so we turned off the motion sensor/recording (especially during stay-at-home orders). We started noticing the blue indicator light turning on randomly so we turned on two-factor authentication. It seemed to have stopped for a while but then we noticed it happening again. My husband and I are the only ones with access to these cameras. Aside from someone else accessing our cameras, is there another reason for the blue indicator light to turn on?

No recordings. When my husband and I use live view, they show up. But there are no entries for the random blue lights.

I think it still senses motion. Mine is setup about the same and reacts the same.

If it were the motions wouldn’t it be going off all the time?

Blue light comes on when it detects motion. Just because you have it turned off in the app doesn't mean the psycial camera isn't still picking it up. It's just not pushing those videos or notifications to your phone.
