Would anyone know why the app would stop working? Checked the service status and it says 'no problems' Realised last night that I couldn't view the cam, kept getting 'connection error'. I've uninstalled the app then reinstalled it. I've restarted my phone. I've tried mobile data and wifi. nothing works. Now it won't even let me log in. It tell me it 'can't complete that operation and to try again later' yet I can log in on my laptop which is a bit of a pain as it requires a code everytime you log in and it logs you out after periods of time. I've msgd Ring and they can't solve the problem. Thanks
Would anyone know why the app would stop working?

Before we start Do NOT type any security or personal info about u or ur WiFi info. But I also have a question for u. I lost contact with an old acquaintance Brian Fogg. Know him? Back to work . Do u know ur WiFi router info?

Reset your router. They can throw errors that cause an inconsistent connection. I have had occasions when everything else seems to work but some items, often the ring doesn’t. The ring can’t tolerate inconsistent connections. Turn the router off and give it a good 60 seconds before restarting.

Hmm. You have tried all the main things. Have you tried deleting the app, waiting 30 seconds then restarting your device then reinstall the app. If there is junk in the phone’s database that would clear it. Resetting the password might be next unless somebody knows a reason not to.

I've done all of that a few times over and reset password

Well guess what, I'm back in after resetting the router. My phone/app must have taken a few minutes to realise.

Terrific! It’s often a router problem. Glad you are back!
