Hi @
zoometry78695, I hope you're having a fantastic day! I would like to provide some information about this. When changing from any security mode to away mode, unless the exit delay for away mode has been changed to zero seconds or unless the volume of the Base Station has been lowered, you should hear a chime coming from the Base Station. This chime indicates that the system has entered exit delay and will soon enter into the security mode you have chosen. Additionally, when changing from any security mode to away mode through the Ring app, unless the exit delay for away mode has been changed to zero seconds, you should get a pop-up within the Ring app indicating that the security mode will change once the exit delay finishes. This pop-up screen will say "Away mode in # seconds" with two buttons at the bottom saying "BACK TO DASHBOARD" or "CANCEL MODE CHANGE". This pop-up screen will disappear after 3-5 seconds if one of the two buttons is not pressed during that time. If you change to a security mode within the Ring app that has an exit delay of zero seconds (for example, home mode is set like this by default upon setting up the Ring Alarm), you will still get this pop-up. Instead of it counting down its exit delay though, it will simply say "(Security mode chosen) & Armed" with the same two buttons from above. If you are concerned about this occurrence from the other night, please send me a private message. I would be happy to look into this further for you to make sure all your settings are set the way you would like them to be :)
