Question

Hi, I put up a Stick up Cam Battery and after two weeks the battery life is down to 27%. It doesn’t get used much as it’s out the back. I was under the impression they last 6/12 months. What do I do? The retailer I bought them from no longer stock them as they’re on the generation 3 and the call centre is down because of the Coronavirus.

If it’s an outdoor camera, you may be able to use a solar panel. Just make sure to get the correct solar panel for your camera.

@usance thanks for the thought, but unfortunately my place is too dark. The guy at the call centre who sounded half stoned two weeks ago they told me to put it half high. The only credible tech support so far comes from the Egyptians. As an Australian I was shocked at customer support. The guy was dazed and confused. If that’s the way the company is going god help.

Call center is not down. their customer service is excellent. call for help

@seavey3285 I used customer service and it’s been excellent in the US and in particularly Egypt. This guy was just half asleep and the product had a shonky battery life.

Almost the same experience here with the battery life on one of the cams. I don’t believe ANY of them would last 6 months. But if it gets so bad that it drains in 2 weeks, I’d ask for a replacement since that is not normal for the battery.
