Do you guys have any blind spots with current home setup? Also what are some recommendations on a MESH device for a 1, 351 sqft property?

No dead spots at all with my eero mesh system from Amazon. Have 3 beacons that cover up to 2, 000 sq. ft. and my house is a little less than that. Have full coverage in my driveway, backyard, upstairs/downstairs and garage. Works very very well. Love mine and under $200.

@dyestuff do you have a link?

@dyestuff I also have eero - just one beacon covers 2000 sq ft single story. So far much better than the extenders I had before.

I almost just got one but these were on sale like $149 at the time so it was a no brainer. Since HomeKit update the price went up but I have both for $149 so can’t complain. Love mine. Full coverage in backyard and driveway and garage is very very nice.

My apologies. Mine covers up to 5, 000 sq. ft. actually but costs a little more. It’s $249 but I still love it. Netgear Orbi is good I hear as well.

Surprised you would need a Mesh system for 1, 350 square feet. Can you relocate it a more central location and what are your dead spots. Are your walls brick/stucco/concrete and you are having trouble getting the signal outside? Are you using a ISP provided Modem/Router and are you allowed to purchase and use your own, typically saves monthly rental. A more capable central modem might be all it takes.

@daryldaryle the house have 5 rooms and a garage converted into a room. The walls are concrete. Not getting great signal on the outside of the house.

@daryldaryle yes, I have an attic

@cessation Thats good are you able to physically attic craw or have friends who can, LOL. What type of cameras are you planning to install outside if any with or without lights? If without lights a great choice is the Stickup cam elite PoE over Cat5e/6 again there is no signal loss due to the concrete walls.

Please search group wall over 20 posts about this same question

@georgiannegeorgic And I would bet it is going to be asked over 20 times again. I have seen the same question posted within only 6-10 new threads. It is not going to stop.

@daryldaryle I’m just gonna delete them it’s getting redundant

However it does not help the new user who genuinely does not know and wants the help. Understanding WiFi is beyond the scope of these forums but all you can hope to do is point members in the right direction.

@daryldaryle I agree but searching wall is always best those past posts full of great info so why ask it again when you can find it all already there

@georgiannegeorgic The answers do change slightly over time and no one goes back and comments updates on three year old posts. While, yes, people should search before typing, it is also very easy to ignore posts that are not of interest to you. Please err on the side of inclusiveness as much as we can.
