I changed the battery on my contact sensor on my door and I keep getting an error message that the devise was tampered. I changed the battery in another sensor today without a problem. any clue what I am doing wrong ?

Any time you open the device to chang the battery it shows tampered. I believe you take the cover off and push the reset button if I remember right. If not that look online how to reset it
