For those who have done SEO in the software/SaaS space, have you ever seen a large discrepancy in rankings performance between two keywords that seem to represent the product in the same way? In one case I am seeing, our partner ranks on page one for "industry product", but ranks poorly for "industry product systems. " Never seen that happen before, and the top ten results are extremely similar (70% overlap at least), which would suggest that performance should be much closer.
