Question

Hi, everyone I've got good positions with many low keywords in serp. Most of them are long tail keywords, if they will be shorten it will be more difficult to rank for sure. How to passe from long tail keyword to a short keyword? P. s. Long tail keywords are in google's first page.

Shorter phrases don't always convert well as you can't tell the searcher intent. Cheap laptops - I'm just looking. Dell i7 used business laptop 16gb ram - I'm keen to buy.

Build up brand value and visibility for the site by cultivating a loyal visitor audience who help you through their links.

@narcotize in the financial niche I know, almost everybody is competing with almost everyone. If you choose to do 100% financial education, and sell nothing, you might get a natural link every other year.

@kingfisher13887 My experience is different. Just because your Website is about X doesn't mean you cannot write about Y. If you can't earn links for X you can earn them for Y. It's not that people's sites can't earn links. It's that they won't do what it takes to earn them.

@narcotize words to live by, but web marketing, as the Marketing in all, comes with all those numbers, returns, ratios etc, so for most people is a lot cheaper and clearly faster to just use the mighty dollar :)
