Did you know that if you have an image in your email signature that you can and should assign an alt tag to it? (in Outlook you can) Did you also know that if you don't, your email deliverability is slightly damaged? I had 3 leads tell me this week that my email went to their spam folder. Incredibly frustrated, I went to www. mail-tester. com and ran a test on my email/domain and found out that I only scored a 9. 5 out of 10. And it was the missing alt tag that reduced my score. I also learned that if you have a URL in your email signature that doesn't match the sending domain, you also raise a red flag and your deliverability can be damaged. I share this information in the hopes that it will help all of you who might be emailing new people regularly get more emails into their inboxes.

There is a giant universe of things we all don't know.

I mean, to be fair, with all the emails that are sent everyday and get past filters, everyone just expects it to work no matter what.

@throes414 and yet emails get filtered still and sometimes for easily apparent reason.

Email will be part of accessibility. Yes, it has to work for and be accessible by everyone!

@hokeypokey300 Multiple links regardless of outgoing domain are a red flag too.
