I’m using it now and I don’t think it’s an either or thing. I will say that Yoast has gone down hill and made many questionable decisions. But, my main reason for switching was that I don’t feel like I’m getting as much value for the money compared to other plugins. I’m running SEOpress on one site and Rank Math on a few others and they are both doing the job quite well. I like rank math because of the redirect capabilities. Remember though that a plugin just makes certain aspects of on page easier. It won’t help you rank if you don’t have everything else on point.

I much prefer RankMath over Yoast. Slowly changing all my sites over.

Slowly I've been moving all of our sites (mostly my side projects ) over to RankMath over my premium Yoast subscription. I find, personally, I do like RankMath better. They do make it pretty easy to migrate from Yoast to RankMath, during setup, with their walk through and settings import, too.

SEO press. I heard there's a lot of exploits with rank math

@muscid where? Info without resources is a shit.

I'd like to give them a shot but I'm on the fence. I've been on the fence since it came out. The shady reviews kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe I'll run a trial on it with a trial site.

Rankmath has impressive features and seems on track to overtake Yoast as the most used SEO plugin, but there are issues. Vulnerabilities reported on pluginvulnerabilities. com are of concern for such a well-funded, fast-growing plugin. There seem to be integrations with 3rd party services that don't seem poised to hold the free-forever model, but I'm just starting to explore those so I have nothing more reliable to say about that yet.

I actually uninstalled Rankmath and Google analytics by monster insights yesterday because I found they inject their homepage links into your code without your consent
by (160 points)
I am a developer of Rank Math and no, we do not inject any link in your code. We do add a HTML comment with a URL in it. This has zero impact on your SEO or anything at all – HTML comments are ignored by browsers and bots alike. It's only seen by those who look at the source code of your pages. You can easily disable these comments with a single line of code: add_filter( 'rank_math/frontend/remove_credit_notice', '__return_true' ); BTW, I am 99% sure this is true for Monster Insights as well. If this is why you uninstalled these plugins, then you can safely reinstall them.

@folkestone oh ok, I could be mistaken but I was sure I saw a link to rankmath's homepage yesterday when fetching a page as google

@burroughs , everyone knows that. I hope you understood What I have asked.

Okay cool. I tend to prefer seo press out of personal preference. But loads of people recommend rank math to use on sites as well
