I've come to the realization that the more people know about SEO, the more technical they become. And the more technical they become, the worse their results are because they stop focusing on creating quality content. Anyone else notice this? And yes. I do think technical SEO is important, but for most small - mid size businesses, they need to focus on optimized content and quality link growth. Technical to me is best when you're near the top of the pack already and want to edge out the competition!
