Question

Motion sensor issue.  Help please.Motion sensor issue. Help please. I have a wink 2 hub and am trying to get a motion sensor to activate a Sylvania smart plug when motion is detected. Both items are zigbee. The smart plug seems fine. The motion detector is AduroSmart sensor and says it is compatible with Wink. Wink only recognizes it as a generic zigbee device and I must classify it as a door, window, drawer, patio door, sensor. Doesn’t give me the option to assign it as a motion sensor. Wink recognizes its presence, but it does not detect any motion or trigger the switch. Btw, I’m using a wink robot to set up the trigger. Any thoughts? Do I need a different motion sensor? Thanks.

FWIW As an update. I changed to a different motion sensor that was listed in the Wink line of compatible products, still a zig bee device, without issue completing my setup. There must be something odd about the AduroSmart device.
