Some days (like today) I wish I could reach into my Echo speakers and choke Alexa. I don’t know why my Everywhere group keeps giving me so many damn issues. Alexa tells me music is playing on the Everywhere group, the app and Spotify both tell me music is playing on the everywhere group, but is it really playing in the everywhere group? Nope. Just in my dining room. WTH! The Spotify app isn’t even showing the correct some that is playing. Sometimes, becoming more rare, it all works perfectly as I dreamed it would, more often lately it a damn train wreck! Aghhhhhh! (Sorry I had to vent to like-minded smart home people).

Sounds like justification for spending the money for whole house wired audio.

Related question. How are you guys handling 10+ echo devices and 4 users with Spotify in the same household (can drop in, etc. )? I simply can't get it to work where someone isn't stealing music from someone else.
