Hello, this is my first post. Please, can you help me with a question about home led lights? I'll be building a house soon, so i'm learning about home automation. Because commercial gear is very expensive, i'm learning Home Assistant. I've already made a relay control to make the lights ON and OFF. but as i'm learning more, i started to think if i can make a whole home RGBW lights. But as the commercial solutions are very expensive, i'd like to know if i can make a DIY modular solution. I think this solution needs a DC power supply, a LED controller (maybe DMX) and the LED fixture itself. I prefer to go with a totally wired solution, because i can put wires and conduit wherever i need. Please, does anyone can help me indicate products to make this solution? Most of the automation product i find is Wi-Fi controlled. or ZigBee or Z-Wave. but i want to avoid wireless because i have this opportunity to wire everywhere. i think these product were made for retrofit. and not for a new home. I will have 5 panels in the house. and my idea is to wire the LED fixtures (5 core cable RGBW and RETURN) to these 5 panels. and in these panels i can put the LED controllers and the power supplies. Do you think it can be done? Does these RGBW LED illuminated well compared to traditional lights? Can you indicate me good sources for this kind a solution? Some LED fixtures i found came with the power supply and the controller, all integrated in the LED fixture. i think a modular solution (LED fixture + controller + power supply separated) is a better solution. thanks in advance.
